Dry run, then confirm
Anything that changes something shows you exactly what it would do and waits for a clear yes — in the conversation, for that specific step.
Off by default
Out of the box it reads and changes nothing. You decide whether it can act, and which roles can ask it to.
You choose what it may touch
Administrators can do everything. For every other role you tick the individual actions you are willing to hand over — drafting offers but not publishing prices, say. Nothing is ticked until you tick it.

What a real exchange looks like
Not a search box with a chat skin. It calls the same tools the screens call, and shows you what it did.

Does it make things up?
It can only report what a tool returned, and every change shown under an answer comes from the tool that made it. An answer claiming a change with nothing beside it is visibly a claim.
What does it cost to run?
A typical question is under two cents, and every question records its own cost. An administrator sees the figure; the people using it do not need to.
Can I stop people using it?
It is off for everybody until you grant it, per user. Being able to ask questions and being able to change things are two separate permissions.
